Aerial sculptures, flexible, hollow, and porous. They form bodies marked by fissures of apparent hardness and rigidity, yet softly wrapped in threads that adapt, protect, and endure. Together, they become a constellation in continuous movement. The roots remain unseen — aerial and delicate — shifting and transforming endlessly.

Ivy possesses the ability to adapt to its surroundings, no matter how complex they may be. It covers the surface it clings to like a protective mantle. Often, its roots do not touch the earth; they are aerial, unanchored. It is a supple plant, continuously reshaping itself as it grows. Ivy is also known as Hedera helix — “helix” deriving from the Greek word for “spiral” or “twist,” evoking the spiraling motion through which it unfolds and ascends.
